Like I mentioned St. Thomas was an island Dayton's brother, Austin, has served on. I kept imagining him talking with the people and possibly walking the streets we would drive by. We grabbed a bus to Magens Bay and laid out. It's one of the top ten beaches in the world and I definitely know why. It was such pretty weather, not humid, and the water was crystal blue. We swam a little bit and then warmed up on the beach. We loaded up on sunscreen the entire trip because although it wasnt Arizona summer hot but the sun would beat down so hard it felt like it was 5 feet away.
When we were looking for a St. Thomas map the girl in the store who helped me find a map kept staring at my belly. She blurted out how far along I was and if it was a girl. She was hesitant to put her hand on my belly but I told her it was okay. (I have no fear or bubble when strangers want to touch my belly. I love it and I love people excited about it even if I have no clue who they are. haha) She kept rubbing it and rubbing it and asking questions. When I told her it was a girl she said "Oh I just know she'll be beautiful just like her mother" I about cried right there. Honestly, sweetest girl and nicest compliment from a complete stranger. I was smiling ear to ear the rest of the day. I really will never forget how genuine and nice she was.
My favorite picture in this post is Dayton posing with the Iguana. He wanted a picture then he crouched down all cheesy. Anytime he says something sarcastic to me now I always make fun of his cheeseball pose. haha I love him.
