1 year

I really cant believe it has been a year since the best day of my life so far. I remember that day well and all the nerves and happiness I felt being sealed to Dayton. Now its a year later and I've got one year of marriage under my belt. I'm starting to get the hang of things. Although it can seem this way that this year has been easy, I hate to say that because there will always be growing pains but it always does get better.

In this short time I've been married I've learned alot about our relationship I'm no marriage expert by any means and I dont pretend to be, just noticing what works for us :).  As I think about us the constant I come up with is Dayton and I are a team through & through. I lack in areas that Dayton is amazing at so while I'm nit picky at washing the dishes Dayton is pro at drying and putting them away. I fold and clean the laundry and Dayton locks up, turns off fans, and makes late night runs to the store for fruit and trail mix. There's a give and take and when the give is bigger than the taking those are when I forget myself and find a happy marriage.

I love the idea of a marriage being team work. We have one anothers best interest.  We pick one another up when one might be falling short. That whole idea of someone backing up your decisions and supporting you is crucial for us. Life is so fun, hard sometimes, but exciting.

Ah I wonder where will be next year! What place in our life we'll be at, what adventures we'll have gone on, and everything in between! So so happy I married this guy one year ago.
