little house

Lately Ive been trying to vamp up my house. For me, it can be overwhelming seeing peoples beautiful homes and wanting that for myself so I promised myself instead of getting overwhelmed I would start little by little. If I have extra cash I'll buy curtains here and trinkets there. I'm also taking the plunge and painting that wall in the background of this picture! I think that brown/orange on the fireplace wall will feel so much better to look at. I've bought everything recently from goodwill or my lovely friend Maren. She thrifts for cute things and then sells me her finds. It's awesome and I love shopping at her gorgeous house! I take that back I bought curtains at Target but that doesnt count. Maren also told me about thrift stores in Mesa so I'm excited to hit those soon!

These two night stands I got from good will a while ago for a total of $45! A steal and I could not believe the white one so pretty and perfect!  Dont mind my clutter. And my scriptures wayyyyy on the other side of the stand. I could always do better at those. haha

This brown one I might paint but for now I'm avoiding any DIY at all costs. And I like the dark brown

 This would be the brown wall I'm itching to paint.

I'll post pictures after Saturday when I'm done suffocating from paint fumes and everything is put back in place!
