Paris, France

After all the cities we went to Paris was our absolute favorite. Or mine at least. I loved every single one of those Parisians and we felt so welcomed. They were the funniest, sarcastic, and helpful people.  We stayed here the longest and I felt like it was my little city. I knew the metros and streets to take and it just felt like home, but alot better. ;)
Paris will always have my heart. I cant say it enough. Its the most magical city you've ever been to and it far exceeded my expectations. My 5 years of french actually paid off. I was able to order, mess up orders, and manage through the city fairly well.  The language is even more beautiful when spoken 30 times faster.

Airport to Strasbourg St. Denis. Finally figured out how to pronounce it right!
AHHH leaving to explore!

fresh fruit every morning!

 First lunch in Paris!

Pont Neuf! I about died I was on this bridge in real life.
 Place Michel Square

 Notre Dame.

 The ultimate people watching city.
postcards to our momma's for Mothers Day in front of L'Eiffel Tower.

The metro was probably one of my favorite things. Getting lost using our bible map to get around. I think there are worse problems you could have than getting completely lost in Paris.

Gericault. I actually knew this one when I saw this.

Its not "nous" avons like you've learned all your life in French classes but ont avons. What?

The famous love lock bridge now has the most important lock of all. The Jones'.

Daytons favorite site. We were there when the new President got innagurated!
 The Palace of Versaille

.
Marie Antoinettes room was my favorite!

My poor jacket is in the hands of some Frenchie :(
Naps on the lawns of Versaille is the only way I should sleep
"Honey you're gonna love this one!!"
chasing a dog....I dont even like dogs?

Lovers AND friends

 Sacre Ceour in Montmarte
The peddlers asking if we wanted Coke or Champagne a million times were the best!

This home reminded me of the East Coast.
 Sunday best

Our waiters and crepe makers were my favorite part!
St. Michel. Dayton loved the gargoyles
Saint-Michel. All the bible stories had to be written on stain glass because back then they weren't able to have scriptures.

hmph. I'm not right alot, but I was on this one.
The catacombs! Chattin with 6 million bones

Just admiring the Seine and yelling to the boat tours
 huge chin
 Jardin du Luxembourg
 L'Eiffel Tower.
We waited in line for an hour and a half. And got up there at 11pm and didnt stay too long because of crowds. My recommendation would be to go to Sacre Coeur and climb the dome and view Paris from there. The line wont be near as long!

 on the Eiffel Tower

I Met these cute girls at the train station headed to Marseille. They were the nicest girls and helped me pick out some clothes, I wish I could have packed them in my suitcase and shown them America!
The Seine in all its glory.

La grenouille!
The most hilarious waiter ever!
