prelude

We're home! And happy little Americans playing with friends and finding our routines again! Europe was a dream come true, but before I start the bombarding of my blog with pictures I wanted to do a teensy post, mostly because the amount of pictures I have is a little overwhelming.

This trip with Dayton was probably the most fun I've ever had.  I felt like I was a little kid just running around Europe with a hott guy. Kind of like a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie.

While there, I kept a detailed journal that I wrote in every night and I could not be happier I did it. I wrote alot about personal experiences with other travelers, things I learned simply by people stalking on the metro, and learning experiences with Dayton. I hope its clear to my future kiddies through that journal how amazing their dad is, and how obsessed I am with him. I was completely amazed by Dayton the entire trip. I am not exaggerating when I say every person on the street begging for money got a few euros from Dayton in passing. Oh no, I'm crying. Thinking about those sweet moments I got to stop and wait for him fidgiting with the coins in his pocket finding some change. Why am I not more like him? Hm.

Might be my absolute favorite picture. haha

I'm overwhelmed with happy feelings when I think of Dayton and how much fun I had with him every moment on the trip. And we're still crazy about each other even after never leaving one another sides for two straight weeks? Its because I make him food and lemonade lets be real here. Mmmm I'll miss the nights writing in my journal and him yelling playing fruit ninja, and hearing the Italian or french kids playing outside our window. Then, him packing my bag for me everytime we set out for our next hotel because I'm an impossible packer.

Could he be more european?

on a much much lighter note:

Heres a picture of the meal I made tonight in honor of Greece I made Gyros with daytons favorite Tzatziki sauce and zuchini from DAYTONS garden. He is obsessed with his garden, he almost killed me when I forgot to water it one day. One of his friend even text him one morning when it was raining and say "your garden is so happy right now! its raining! Hallelujah!!" haha Its pretty much been the most exciting thing around here and when we first got home we ran outside to see the garden and the plants were huge! So we used the ripe zucchini in dinner tonght and it was sooo good!

A post of pictures will come eventually or on facebook when I find 5 hours in my day to dedicate to it :l
