love is a poor mans food

There are not enough words to describe this weekend. Everything was perfect.

Sooo here's how everything went down. I bought my ticket a month and a half ago for the weekend of "June 24th", but really I got sneaky and bought it for June 17th and was going to surprise Dayton. I had a whole plan of just being at his house when he got home from work that Friday night. I was going to get in at 630 and he told me earlier that week he had to close at the Physical Therapy clinic and would be done at 830...Perfect. I could be waiting at his house! I didnt want to tell any of his family and wasnt thinking I would have to, until Friday came around. Just my luck he switched with someone at work that day and was going to get off at 630 haha. Soo I had to make plans with his mom to work out a plan B.

Can I just say how much I love his mom/my future mother in law. I really hit the jack pot on this one! When I told her I was surprising him she was soo excited and started giving me ideas immediately. Anyway I'm on the plane texting my mom and Rondalee (those flight attendants would have killed me if they knew I was texting!!) figuring out last minute rides from the airport and still brainstorming an idea of how to surprise him.. As I'm landing his mom calls and says he's golfing. Wellll so much for thinking I ruined the surprise with a few text messages earlier that day. He clearly had no idea! So I got dropped off at his house and Rondalee and I headed to the golf course! Rondalee was just as excited and maybe even more nervous than I was to surprise him..as we're pulling into the parking lot at the course:

Me-"okay where could we pop out from?"

Rondalee-"Ah stop talking! I cant concentrate, I'm too nervous! How can you be so calm!?"

Here is a video of the surprise. I know I'm awkward and it kinda got weird having all those people stare at us while we hugged it out but just let.it.be! hahaha

I love to eat when I go home. Resturants in Arizona dont compare to the three fast food get ups in Rexburg so I like to let myself go :) Here we are at the always delicious Pei Wei. Top of the line Chinese food.

hahah i wish I took more pictures to put a collage together. We went swimming at the Larsons on Saturday afternoon with Josh, Brock, and their little brother Jaret. Jaret came up from the water every single time with the most 'gasping for air face' you can imagine. haha he's a little dare devil though!

This is sad. I have a picture with Charlcie's neice, who is the cutest baby i've ever seen, but not a single one with all the girls...I promise my priorities are straight.

and finally what I miss most. Afternoon naps together most :( andd eating lots of salt water taffy!

Four more weekends til' I'm for home, done with school for now, and back with my honey buns!
