saving money

uhh say hi to my new ring...long fingers...and unpolished nails...

Dayton has been on a saving money kick, and it is NO joke. He got rid of his droid first of all. I cant tell you how huge this is for him! He absolutely loved having ESPN at his fingertips, email, and our favorite; the MSN homepage full of fun news :) So he sold his droid and was soooooo happy about all the money we will save a month in phone bills since mines a cheap ol' thing too. Surprisingly he loves his new simple phone and his withdrawls arent too bad! Dayton also has bought a few things at garage sales and turned around and sold them on Craigs list.

He has now gone to the extreme & asked me to send back my ring and return it. LETS just say: I"m not too happy about it!!!! He wants to put that money towards our apartment, car insurance, groceries, and other bills.....ha.ha.ha

Juuuuuust kidding!!! I had a couple loose diamonds on my ring and didnt want to risk losing any of them so I sent my ring to Arizona the other day so Dayton can take it in to fix & clean it. ("no more wearing your ring while making brownies" -Daytons strict orders haha..oops!)

I love my "new" ring (thanks to Amanda). It can be a sketchy thing walking around BYU Idaho as an engaged woman without a ring on.. haha just kidding I am not that cool. But this will have to do til' I go home in a few weeks!

p.s. I really do love love love Daytons ideas for saving money. They're nothing terribly big but those little things make all the difference :)...and we got the call yesterday from our apartment complex we're moving to. We have our apt number! We're living together in a real life apartment!!!!!

aaaaaand in other news: I lost my thumb :(
