Summer

I'm back tracking to summer because I forgot to post about when Brittney came to visit!  Honestly, this summer was one of the best ever.  Both our best friends lived here and we were always bouncing from one adventure to the other.

The first day Brittney was here we went into Seattle. Pike place is always a must, Serious Pie pizza, Molten Hot Cakes, and Gas works.  I think that's all? I'm forgetting!

We all hate being left out of pictures.

Brittney looks like Billy Ray Cyrus and Charlcie looks like those old 90's troll dolls with red hair. It's our favorite picture.

The boys had work down in Portland so we joined them there the next day!  We got lost like 80 times and the first day we tried to go to Multnomah falls and realized half way there it was closing in 10 minutes.

 ^^ Voodoo Doughnuts

Multnomah Falls will always look like the backdrop to your second grade self potraits.  Doesn't it?  Pictures never can capture how amazing it is.

 I love this.

Portland temple

^^ Clark county fair ya'll.

Don't ask how annoyed the boys were at us while we tried to get the perfect picture.

Sunday we went to Hello Robin and Molly Moons then went to see the ocean in North Seattle.

Winnie kept signing 'more more' while I was feeding her ice cream so Chance and Charlcie reenacted it. haha I'd say they get 10 gold stars!

Dayton has been coming home earlier (yay!) so I've lost the hustle hour from when Winnie goes to sleep and when Dayton comes home.  I usually sprint around the house cleaning, finishing dinner, folding laundry during that time, or publish a SUPER important blog post.  I am no longer fooling him to think I'm on top of things but the plus is he is home sooner than 11pm and Winnie gets to see Daddy before bedtime.  Win win! The point is I don't have that little slot of time to post here. Is anyone heart broken?  And right now I'm eating into "date NIGHT" and missing crucial parts of Parenthood and I can't keep asking Dayton what's going on for very long before he does that longggggggggg stare where you know he's thinking that multi tasking is not my strength.  He's also begging me to get him some ice cream and trying to trick me into getting up like asking me if I want ice cream *he starts to stand up towards the kitchen* and when I answer yes he sits back down and says "Perfect! Me too!"

haha! As I just finished typing that paragraph he dished us both up some ice cream.  Those cravings got the best of him. Lucky me!
