Well, here's another plug for packing your lives and moving to Washington right NOW. This last week they started movie's at the park in the area. Charlcie and I have been waiting for this to begin for weeks now! We imagined it being just like the scenes from What to Expect When You're Expecting. "You crushed it". And it was better! We tried to get there early since they seat people two (actually it turned out to be three) hours in advanced. There were tons of people there and I'm glad we got there when we did! When we finally got our tickets we rushed to find a good spot and set up. We weaved through the crowd and got alot closer than we thought we were going to be able to! After we laid out blankets we rushed to grab food. Food trucks!! Crazy expensive but worth every penny to have a grilled cheese with aged chipotle cheddar cheese, avocado, and bacon. YUM.
All day Winnie was being transfered from shopping cart, to stroller, to car seat, and back so she was happy to get time to explore. There were tons of dogs which meant Winnie would bark and say "dahhhh". She is Miss social! I love how she just can make any stranger happy. The teenagers sitting behind us kept waving at her and playing with the spoon she kept trying to share. She's been standing up randomly anytime I put her down and took another baby step! All Dayton's rigorous training is paying off. There were aerialist performing (honestly, got a little creepy and weird with the music they were playing) and trivia games for the audience while we waited for the movie to play. Finally at 9:45 it started. Pretttyy late for a one year old! We were close to the front so we could see everything but also really close to the speakers. So it was really loud! Winnie was so awake the whole time but fell asleep after a good swaddle and a little bouncing. We ended up sneeking out early because we were freezing. Cha and I decided we'll be much better prepared next week with more sweaters, blankets, games, and food.
