welllll its mothers day tomorrow and as follows, the typical mushy gushy mom post! here are some fun little facts: gotta show my momma off a little bit!

1. She has one brown eye and one blue eye

2. She's not mrs. crafty mom but she's come to terms with it. haha

3. She speaks french, madrin chinese, and some spanish.

4. Her dream is to be up close and personal to a tornado.

5. our favorite show to watch together is Saturday Night Live. Any skit with Kristin Wigg she gets hysterical.

6. She has her masters in social work and has worked as therapist for the church for 15 yrs..but she now owns her own therapy business and is workin it!

7. She will never ever never ever never ever say a bad word about anyone. dont even try and talk bad about someone infront/with her, no matter what mean thing anyone has ever done to me i hear "maybe they were having a bad day, you have no idea what is going on in their life, everyone has their weaknesses ali, or are you maybe a liiiiitle at fault. (i always love to hear the last one :l )

8. She is obsessed with traveling and enjoys the little things in life. She always says that "i would be completely content living in a straw hut in Africa" .....she really would!

9. She's the most forgiving and non judgmental person i have ever met. handsdown. She always gives people the benefit of the doubt

10. She broke her foot (first bone ever in her life to have broken) at age 49 while moving houses a few weeks ago. She's since rebroken it who knows how many times.

Words can not describe how amazing of an example my mom is. Sure she wasnt the mom I could go shopping with and pick out cute outfits (which kills me sometimes) but at the end of the day if I was struggling with anything she would sit and talk with me for hours, give me the best advice, inspires me to be a better member of the church in everyway, and has shown me how important education and working hard are.

Our family is going through a little somethin' right, we're not sure exactly what it is yet, but every time i talk to my mom she always has the most calm & positive attitude. Her complete faith in the Lords plan never ceases to amaze me. "The Lord will take care of us" Isnt that the best attitude to have in life? No matter what happens good or bad. As i've talked to her over this week I keep calling her crazy (literally she's absolutely nuts) I think her motto in life is never let em see you sweat. and She's living up to it!
