Christmas in Washington is so incredible. I'm a little bummed we didn't have time for before we left to Arizona. Like the Santa train and the parade in downtown Bellevue. BUT the things we did see were fun! One Saturday night we went to a nursery in North Seattle to see some Reindeer and a camel! Winnie is so obsessed with animals and couldn't get enough.
After reindeer we went into Seattle to see the Gingerbread exhibit in some hotel lobby. It was a smaller exhibit than I was expecting but once I got up close to the "houses" I understood why. There was so much detail on them. The "houses" were built by architectural engineers from firms around Seattle. Palm trees made out of sour ropes. I wanted to take them home with me. We took the opportunity to walk around Seattle after our tour of the gingerbread houses. Finding a Starbucks in Seattle is as easy as they say! You can walk less than half a mile in any direction and you'll stumble upon one. Salted carmel hot chocolate flow sthrough my veins during Christmas time. I love the customer service in Seattle. Not because people refill my water without being asked or anything like that. The things people say when they take my order are insane. They have the wittiest remarks and weirdest jokes! Anyway, that was as much of Christmas we enjoyed in Washington before we headed down to Arizona!
And of course pajamas all day on Sunday. How can I not steal pictures of them when they don't know I'm looking. Dayton says sometimes when I try and get pictures it ruins the moment. After he saw this picture he asked me to send it to him. You're welcome, honey!
