We put Christmas up the other night and really it's just sad. Do christmas tree lights have to be that difficult?! If you get a real one the strands have broken lights so you spend 3 hours finding which bulb is out. If you have a fake one, like us, there's like 80 thousands plugs hidden and it seems like only four combinations out of a thousand make the thing light up. Dayton gave up, let's just say that. So only 1/18 of our tree is lit up. It looks so good though. hahaha Dayton keeps saying, "I'll fix it tonight." I would normally be bugged that it's not all lit but I just really don't care and we laugh about how terrible it looks. Maybe it's because when the 1/18 of the lights turned on Winnie didn't even flinch so it was pretty anti climactic and that kind of killed our motivation. We danced to aton of Christmas music in our living room and that was the highlight. If I got tired and sat down Winnie freaked out and said 'Mama' 800 times until I got up to dance with her again. I've been wrapping presents for our family who live far away and I've thoroughly enjoyed that. I imagine them opening them being so happy and isn't that the best feeling ever?!
And there is our 1/18 lit tree in all it's glory. Winnie was trying to take the stress off Daddy and help him figure out the lighting situation. Not gonna happen, girlfran.
