It may be that everyone knows about this app and just because I'm a newbie I'm just now discovering it, but I found a new health app! I'm trying to really work on things I eat and although I'm not perfect Ive found that tracking everything I eat helps me to not eat the random candies or snack like I normally do.
My Fitness Pal is the awesome for tracking food intake, exercise, and how much water you drink! I'll run a few miles on the treadmill log it and it lets me know how many more calories I have left to eat to meet my goal. (Not so great for calculating calories burned for lifting weights but oh well) It provides the option for how many calories a day will help you lose X amount of pounds in a week.
My favorite part is the food logging. The data base is huge for finding foods you've eaten. Say for example I had peanut butter and jelly for lunch it will give an option for white bread, whole wheat, 12 grain, half a sanwhich, no crust, with crust.) For packaged items it will provide the brand of the item and all the nutrition info or what fast food place you ordered fries! Ah I'm so in love.
