Settling in

I'm really starting to enjoy our humble little apartment.

My mom always said to live in something small & "ghetto" when you first get married so we can appreciate a nice home when we finally get there. She said that these times would create so many fun memories. And for these two months its been just that. At first I used to get kind of annoyed at our neighbors & that it wasnt the perfect little apt everyone seems to have. But the crying kids, occasional cop calls, friendly neighbor rap sessions on the porch, smokers, cat lady next door, etc are like a heaven on earth. I wish I was kidding...okay I half am but the stories we'll tell our kiddies and crying laughing at Dayton cracking jokes about our apartment are things I wouldnt change.

We also have come to the conclusion that there is someone living in our attic...its not really a proper attic, we're actually scared to push the little wall square in the ceiling up to see whats there. But I think it could really be a possiblity just because we're not exactly sure so we like to use our imagination. Now Dayton, as he's tucking me in bed, cant say there isnt anything in the closet...becauuuuuse there could be. hahah

I will miss this place terribly when it comes time to move in a year or so, but for now, I'm happy only having to clean a small area and having a space to be ours.

everytime i hear this song i tear up...and then there's the occasional sobbing car ride alone. This was Dayton and I's wedding song..Ray Lamontagne has the most soothing feel good voice. I will never get sick of this song.
I'll like you for always Dayton ♥
