BYE BYE to the too good to be true kind of love

I'M ENGAGED!!!!!

No one is more shocked about this than be because I was always the last to get engaged of my friends but it happened, I'm getting married, and its perfect :) Heres how Dayton did it! (I put lots of detail that no one will probably care about haha but I want to remember it all)

Dayton and I have been dating for 10 months on April 3rd and a few weeks ago we started getting serious about marriage. We started talking about dates, where we would have it, and ring shopping :) With in a few weeks I had picked out my ring, we found an apt in Mesa, bought a dress, and set a date! After I picked out the ring I knew he had to be proposing soon because we need to take engagements soon! I randomly saw a few text messages from friends about details of how he might do it but never really dates for it, but I was guessing it was Friday for some reason. We went on a triple date with Charlcie and Brittney and I was sure..he was going to find a time to break away & do it. But the hours passed by anddd...nothing. It didnt happen Friday so I decided to guess it was coming Sunday, thats General Conference and we were also taking his family pictures so it seemed like the perfect day. I was completely busy on Saturday dress shopping and babysitting all night and didnt see how he would have any time to get a moment alone. I get to my babysitting job and the lady I babysit for told me that she didnt mind if Dayton came over & helped. So he came over and was kind of getting anxious that I wasnt going to be done babysitting til 11pm. So later they text me they werent gonna be home until twelve he got pretty bummed. I wasnt bothered at all because I liked just sitting there but I just thought he was bored. He also brought up how it was out 10 month Anniversary. Honestly am I a girl? He is always having to remind me about our random anniversaries! Anyway so the parents came home and he was supposed to follow me home because he left something at my house. I'm not kidding the little detailed stories he made had me going the whole time. He called while we were headed home and said we were supposed to meet our friend Jake at the church because he wanted to show us his puppy while he was out in chandler and it was sort of the half way point. Sounds pretty dumb but I bought it! So on the way to the church he calls me and wants to stop at the gas station because "Jake wants a redbull" we go in &as we're leaving he stops to check the newspaper for stats. If any one knows Dayton he's obsessed with sports and again I got frustrated that it was so late (12:30) and he was checking stats and just went outside to my car...Anyway so we drive and pull up to the church and Jake wasnt there. I parked next to Dayton and made myself comfortable to wait. Dayton got out of his car and wanted me to too. I was so tired and didnt want to get out so I sort of unhappily got out and he came up to me and gave me a big hug and immediately said "Babe this is where we first said I love you,{seriously I was freakin out because I immediately knew what was going on and it was happening so fast} I want to spend the rest of my life with you *got down on one knee* and asked me to marry him!" I was shocked....I really thought I was totally going to be able to call it but he 100% shocked me. He proposed at a church and that may be totally mormony & cheese ball but it was perfect for our little story! I wouldnt want it anywhere else because it was special to us. I cried a little and then all my best friends popped out from the corner taking pictures. How perfect to be able to share this moment with my best friends and my fiancee all in one!

Clearly I wasnt expecting to get proposed to because I'm in work out clothes. Please dont judge me!

The best friends I could want and have during this exciting part of my life...[gonna try and not cry everytime I think about them] Seriously I'm so grateful for their support and how much they've helped me through the process already. I love how they are so excited for Dayt & I. p.s. Thank you Haleigh Williams, Weston, and Rain for coming along too! :)

We're getting sealed on August 19,2011 at the Mesa, Arizona Temple and yes we'll be spending three months of our engagement 18hrs away from one another. Skype and visits will save us! haha
