For Valentines day, which was forever ago, I figured I would make dinner for Dayton since he claims it isnt a guys holiday to receive actual presents. So yes, I decide to practice my culinary skills on him....seriously guys this could have possibly equaled food poisoning for the both of us. But anyway, no one judge HALEIGH , he wanted this tater tot green been casserole I had mentioned my roommate made up at school once. Weird I know but he's one of a kind! :) (p.s. THANK you Melissa Mayr you saved my life). I hadn't had a night where my parents werent home so we could have a little evening to ourselves up until this blessED night so it was a belated holiday...who doesnt love when that happens?!

I'm not gonna kid you...it.was.amazing. Leah, my little sister, joined us as well and she loved it too. Dayton couldnt stop saying how good it was...and I'm 99.9% he was being very sincere.

Good thing Lou was there so she could take pictures, she had us pose that way too haha. Yup I got the eye roll from Dayton for wanting a picture. "Gotta put it on the blog!" in the typical high pitched girl voice. hah alwayys judgin'.
Presentation of food you could possibly say is my biggest strength. I mean look at how I strategically placed the chocolate covered strawberries on the aluminum so they would look that much more appealing. Mind you this was after we had dug in a bit. For all those who are detail oriented, unlike myself, it still tasted the same as if it were on a fancy plate, and he ate them all up. And plus the tin foil adds a little somethin extra I think ;)

ummm...can i just say, I love him I love him I love him. and I love doing nice things for him, and I like when I dont ruin a meal I worked hard on, and I like when he rewards my hard work with a smooch...or seven ;)
